Not FOB as foreigner in English, but in this transfer admissions.
I tried to make sense out of this forum, but I don't understand EA/ED or deferral/waitlist. Is it just like the freshman admissions process? Then when do you apply EA/ED? I don't think I found this info on college websites. Help me out, please.

I don't think you apply EA or ED as a transfer student (at least not that I have seen)...there is just one deadline for all transfer applicants

I don't know about deferrals and how they work for transfer students but I think they are pretty rare. Also, waitlist does work relatively the same a freshman admission....

I think University of Chicago has an EA deadline for transfers, but I don't know of any other universities that do. Waitlisting is the same as freshman admissions. Deferrals mean that you are bumped from an EA/ED applicant pool to the regular pool.
