<p>So I just submitted my SIR to UCLA! WooHoo! MIMG here I come.</p>

<p>Anyways, I need to sign up for summer school but I have no idea how to do this. They tell you to do it through URSA but I don't see any options that allows me to enroll in summer classes. Is anyone else here doing summer school at UCLA? Please help me out! Classes are filling fast! Thanks. Go Bruins =)</p>

<p>Hey, I’m doing summer school also.</p>

<p>In URSA: Click “View Enrollment Menu” (on the left), pick the term you wish to enroll in, then click “Add a class”</p>

<p>You’re gonna need the course ID to add the class.</p>

<p>-go here: [Schedule</a> of Classes Home Page](<a href=“http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/schedule/schedulehome.aspx]Schedule”>http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/schedule/schedulehome.aspx)</p>

<p>-search for the class you want to take and copy the code, then paste in ursa</p>

<p>-as a student your payment deadline is until June 18th</p>

<p>-don’t forget about a parking pass if you’re commuting (application can be found at your MyUCLA page on the bottom left)</p>

<p>I’m doing summer session also, when I apply for housing it expects me to make a full payment to apply, do you guys get the same thing?</p>

<p>…the hell man? Was the option to enroll in summer courses available to you right after you had submitted your SIR?</p>

<p>Does anyone know if we can fill out a summer fin aid application prior to enrolling? I would like to take a summer course but if I don’t get enough fin aid I will just have to wait until the fall.</p>

<p>Oh dood, you need to wait for your SIR to be processed.</p>

<p>It might take a day or so.</p>

<p>Log on to your “MyUCLA” to check its status.</p>

<p>Whew… Okay, thanks. I checked MyUCLA and it says to allow 2 days for processing.</p>

<p>One more thing, did you have to submit your transcripts and get prereqs cleared before you were allowed to enroll in summer courses?</p>

<p>That was the priority deadline, but we can still submit the application. I don’t want to enroll in any classes though unless I know I have a way to pay for them. :)</p>

<p>Nope, I’m pretty sure you can sign up for almost any class.</p>

<p>Keep in mind URSA does not enforce prereqs in the summer, so take advantage of that.</p>

<p>anyone know how summer school parking works at UCLA? I know the website to sign up and pay for it, I would just like to know how it works. </p>

<p>Do we get a permit sent to us after we pay, stick it on our windshield, and park at a certain designated area?</p>

<p>Whoa- 94 bucks for parking for Summer C… That’s just… excessive… but I will HAPPILY pay it to be a Bruin! (I don’t know- seems kind of wrong of me to apply to UCLA knowing what outrageous fees will come with it, and then complain about it without a really really good reason)</p>

<p>It’ll be nice to get to know the campus without tons of students around.</p>
