<p>take AP Gov't. you said you want to take it and it's a AP course that a lot of seniors take. colleges will take the strength of schedule into account when they look at your transcript so just take it...</p>
<p>I agree, take AP Gov't, it will only increase the strength of your schedule when colleges see it. It is a course that most seniors take, infact where I live, a semester of Economic and Gov't is required.</p>
<p>Just to put things in perspective, the colleges will not see your second semester grades until after you are admitted. If you apply EA or ED, they don't see your senior grades at all, just your class schedule, unless you receive a deferral to RD in the EA/ED round.</p>
<p>You should take the class that interests you, where you will do the work despite the stress of your other activities. If you are planning a time-consuming schedule, remember to include time to work on your college applications. Marching band, with its heavy fall schedule, makes things tough, doesn't it?</p>
<p>Ap Govt. is easier than regular govt. I shoulda taken AP, but I stuck with regular cause I thought it'd be easier. It turns out there's more work in regular govt.</p>
