Do I have to submit an official transcript to the university of California schools from my high school? I live in CA, and around school people are saying that no, you do not send an official transcript until you are accepted, they just use the one you provided online then verify later. Anyone who applied in the past and was accepted, please answer! I tried looking online and this info wasn't there. Thanks, please answer!!!

You don’t send an official transcript until you submit your Statement of Intent to Register.

Thank you so much for answering! That’s what I thought.

But make sure the info you put on your application is correct, i.e. cross-check against your official transcript, so that they don’t call you on a discrepency latter. I doubt they would use that rescind your acceptance but you don’t want to risk it. Good Luck.
