I would really really like something close to home, which is near Drexel University (in state Pennsylvania) if you've ever heard of it. My main major is the science field, maybe physics. But my choices are limited since my parents won't let me out far from home. But I listed some anyway.

So on my list so far:

Villanova Uni
Lafayette College
Muhlenburg College
University of Richmond
Bryn Mawr College (All women's, i'd rather not even if they let me in)
Usciences
Drexel University
Carnegie Mellon
UCLA (I don't think I should bother with this, for multiple reasons)

Can you guys list these as safety, match, reach, far reach? And can you please please please recommend me some good schools that aren't like 50% admittance rate. I want look for more selective colleges but feel like I don't have much room to work with because of my record and distance. Whatever you guys can add to my list to help, please do so. Thank you!

CMU might be a reach.

Same with Johns Hopkins right?

probably a reach as well

CMU and Nova could be a bit of a reach, Muhlenburg is a good safety-- consider Lehigh or Bucknell (both good schools, and perfectly attainable reaches) Loyola Maryland is also a good one, it would be a good safety for you, I don’t know if they have a good science program though…

Carnegie Mellon and Johns Hopkins are reaches (not far reaches, though.)
The other schools on your list are safeties and matches.

Anybody else? And should I bother with UCLA or is that too far fetched?

nobody?
