ok, so how do I handle the part on the apps where the counselor signs and writes recommendations. Do I give the entire app for each school to my counselor and let him complete it and come back to pick it up the next day? What if I'm doing my app online? Do I just print out those pages? Also, if a college requires an essay but doesn't have any essay questions on their site( but uses common app), do I just assume that the the questions on the common app. are the right ones?

i'm not 100 percent sure..but whichever college uses the common app, then i think it would be safe to assume that the essay they require is teh same one the common app uses....but be sure to make sure if they require supplements and verify with them about the essay just to be sure..

No, just give your GC the GC recommendation form and nothing else. If your GC is also really helpful and wants to see your essays, you can also him/her that, but that's about it.

More likely than not, if the college doesn't publish any specific essay questions, then the essay topic is your choice (you are talking about an essay supplement, right?)
