PLEASE HELP SAT score question

If I am retaking the subject test in january and I'm sending my scores to all of the schools, should I also send my older scores too? Or should I just send the new scores, or will that be too late? I know its not too late for the schools, but would they get to my application before the january scores come in, and be like, what the heck y doesn't this guy have SAT scores. I don't want to waste all my money on sending scores if I can just send the january scores once.

Thanks.

Whenever you send SAT scores, ALL of your previous SAT scores are sent as well. So, if you send only your subject test scores when you get them to college A, college A will get EVERY SAT score you've ever received up to that date.

BTW, should I just send the new scores to stanford just for the heck of it, in case they would see it? My subject test scores are really low. And btw, could I also send the January scores for WUSTL, even though the CB site says the scores should be in my January 15, but HYP said they take Jan scores, even though their app due date is the 1st of january, earlier than WUSTL!

PLZ I NEED HELP!

Azure, I know that, but will the january score reports with my new scores come in a bit late? SHould I just send in dec score report so they have it in case? Than jan will come and they can see that too? I would do that, but it is expensive!

If the university you are applying to accepts the January SAT score date, then they should accept all your scores for that date.

So, if they say they take January SATs, then just list their name for the January test date and they'll get ALL your scores.

Ok, b/c I just wanted to make sure, so I dont' have to send two score reports and waste money.

Does anyone know about WUSTL??? it says jan 15, but its college app is later than hyp but the hyp still accepts SAT scores from jan.

BTW, will i need to rush these score reports?

The CB says the schools need the reports by the 15th of feb. Will regular score reports be sent then?

I did something similar. Some of the universities I applied to didn't have all of my scores, but I still had the Dec. 2 SAT to take. I didn't feel like sending a score report when I applied to my universities, and again after I get my Dec. 2 SAT results. So, I just added ALL the universities I applied to for the Dec. 2 SAT test. So, when that score comes in, every university I listed will have ALL of my SAT scores.

Regular should be fine. It seems that everybody else here agrees that you should just send them regular if you have that big of a gap of time.

One more thing, Harvard score report is due feb 15, Princeton is March 1, yale is FEB 1 (!). These schools have differing SAT score report due dates. Will my january come in time for Harvard and Yale?!!!!!!!

BC score reports are due Jan 2nd!!! will my score report from jan test come in time?!

This is confusing and sucky!

I woudlnt' want to send my score report now, cuz I'm retaking the subject test and will probably get better scores! ARGH, Dartmouth is also due JAN 1!!!! ***! I can't send in my subject test scores like that!

Will my sat score come in time from jan test!

I'm a little confused here. Are you taking the January 27 SAT and you want to make sure that your scores from this test date will reach your colleges in time?

Just calm down, write out your posts legibly and in clear English, and it'll be easier to help you out.

I am taking the SAT subject test on January 27, and want to send just one score report, because I will then have raised my SAT subject test scores.

Will these scores arrive in time for Dartmouth college? The CB site says dartmouth score reports are due jan 1, but most college with their app due the first of jan accepts jan scores, but IDK about dartmouth, since CB says jan 1. Should I just send my dec scores, and then send AGAIN?

Thanks.

bump bump bump

Hmm...in your case I'd send them twice then if Dartmouth says reports are due Jan. 1. You won't get your January 27 scores until FEBRUARY, so I doubt they'd accept them. I don't think those other universities would accept the January 27 test either though, since you won't get the scores until mid-February.

thanks azure. Anyone else have any information on this?

I will call Dartmouth tomorrow.

bump bump bump

Dude, there's no need to bump the thread as frantically and frequently as you do. I'm assuming you don't have much experience with online forums, but you usually only bump your threads once or twice a day. Yeesh, you need to realize that not everybody is always online at every second of the day to answer your every question, so there's no need to constantly bump it.

bump bump bump

send the report as you have it as soon as possible, then after you take the test call admissions and tell them you'll be sending in the new scores.
