okaay so i did the sat on October 6 without studying and got 1400, i was pretty shocked cause im a very bright student, like i was too stressed in the exam, didnt have time to finish the essay or the math written section. The university im applying to needs at least 2100, u cant imagine how much i want this, ill literally study as much as i can, ill do everything in my power just to get that mark. My exam is on January 26. What do u guys think, if i work hard enough can i get a 2100 from my second time? please helppp
sorry i posted this again im just very scared

Realistically you need to find a well regarded personal tutor to evaluate your potential and then work directly with you, ideally one-on-one. Start as soon as possible.

okay but u see im not the kind of person that gets tutors like at all. i dont find em helpful

Don’t let your attitude get in the way. It’s clear from your post that you need help.

okay yeah i understand but like i didnt study the first time it was my first ever timed sat exam, i was stressed, didnt have time to finish, which basically led to my screwing up, but that doesnt mean i need help u know, i just need to study hard enough?

To go up 700 points you need a tutor or at least someone helping you out

but i dont want someone to help me out i think i can do it alone, because my friend got the same mark then she got a tutor for a WHOLE month and guess wat she got 1500 on the october 6th one, so really im not planning on wasting my money on tutor that wont help

And you think you can go up more by yourself? I don’t think you realize how hard it is to raise your score on the SAT

no i do realize that, but i can do it alone i really really can, cause u see i am a top student and this was practically a disappointment for me, so i have 88 days left for my second sat exam im gna study every single day and yeah get help from my English teachers if i dont understand and ill do princeton reviews guide and practice tests, will that be enough?

If you’ll be getting help from your teachers then you have a chance

the thing is u know i want this more than anything i ever wanted, like my entry to melbourne university will be based on it

oh and one more thing, my math was 600 on my first exam wen i didnt study AT ALL thats why i ran out of time, and im very smart in math got an A in my AS math, and in school my math average reaches about a 95% its just the sat math is kinda weird… but with enough practice is it possible to get 800?
