Please help! Scheduling question?!

Hi, I am very stressed. I, being naive as I was, did not choose too hard courses in 9-10th grade. I feel sad and depressed that Ivy Leagues will not even consider my application. Can you assess this in terms of COURSE RIGOR ONLY?

Note: Only Math Honors is offered at my school.

Here is my current 10th grade schedule:

Honors Algebra 2

Honors Geometry

Biology

Computer Programming 1/2

Modern World History

English 10

PE

French 2

Note that my current unweighted GPA is : 4.04

This year, I've decided that I'm not going to be a COWARD and I will kill it with my schedule:

I thought for next year (11th grade), I'll take this tough schedule to make up for my mistakes this year:

AP Biology

AP English Lang

AP US History

AP Economics (macro+micro)

Chemistry

Honors Pre-Calculus

French III

Please keep in mind that right now, I'm finding 10th grade TOO easy, and barely have any work. I am bored on WEEKDAYS because of little or easy HW so I just play PS3.

Therefore, I am up to the challenge to take such a rigorous schedule because I WANT to go to an Ivy-League college. One more question, would it be better to take Chem and Physics in jr. year and AP Physics in senior year? Else, would it be better to take AP Bio and normal Chem in jr. year and AP Chem in sr. year.

PS. My dream college is Wharton at Penn. Other interests include: NYU-Stern / Berkeley-Haas / uMich - Ross

Uhhhhhhhh instead of spending those weekdays playing video games I would go out and actually do stuff that would be beneficial to your ECs but you also enjoy. For example: I spend most of my free time working at a local State Senator’s office. Not only do I love it, but it also looks great on my app (and I got a letter of recommendation from him!).

I would also suggest making your course work harder. It’s no big deal if you begin to challenge yourself more later, although you need to keep up all As or only about a B or two if you want to even have a shot in the Ivies. I wouldn’t make a jump into all extremely tough classes unless you are almost certain you can manage it!

PS- I think 11th Grade looks impressively tough!
PSS- You MUST do an internship with a company if you want to even be considered at Wharton. That’s one of their biggest wants of an applicant!
