Hey! I'm from Brazil and I'm really looking forward to attend a summer program in US, not only to get to know the culture and study a lot, but also to have sometihng to help in my college application! The thing is, I'd really like to know what are the most reputed summer programs for Computer science or business available for internationals, because many are only for permanent reisdents... :(

I already know about the M&TSI at Upenn, that untill now is the only one that seems exciting and rewarding for me (I was expecting to go to the LEAD program until I noticed it is only for US residents, sad)

Anyway, thanks for your help!

Check out the LAUNCH program, it’s taught by Harvard Business School professors, Consultants and MIT faculty. It’s essentially a start-up boot camp where you get the opportunity to pitch to actual investors by the end of it, with the hope of getting invested in.

LBW run by UPenn is also good for business.

OH, yes!! I saw this program too! awesome man! but yeah, it is very competitive, do you think being brazilian could give any advantage in the admissions for me? (for diversity sake)
Also, any ideas for great comp. sci / engineering?
thanks man

I’m not sure you being Brazilian will make that much if a difference… They genuinely only care about your academics, personality traits and achievements.

As for engineering/science programs check out:

Engineering Innovation run by Johns Hopkins University:

Thanks for the effort!
Is the Cornell engineering program also as reputed/prestigious/good?
Also, how does its fun compares to a camp such as… summer at brown?
sorry for asking so many questions, lol

To be quite honest, I have no idea! I’m applying for programs this year so I couldn’t really compare the funness of one to the other.
