I am currently a high school senior, but I did dual enrollment at my local community college and I nearly have my sixty credits. I applied to UF and was rejected - I hear they don't really like dual enrollment students. I had a 5.9 GPA but my SAT score was just a 1900. I had plenty of ECs and a pretty excellent essay. It was my top choice so I emailed them about it, and they told me my next chance to get in was if I applied after I had all my sixty credits.

The problem is, I barely have any pre-requisites done for my major (biochemistry), and I really wanted to apply for the spring term next year. My dad told me to not waste my time finishing classes in community college and to just finish them at FSU, but I'm scared UF will straight up reject me again since they do give priority to those in community colleges. Do you absolutely HAVE to have all pre-reqs done when applying? Would it be wise to apply even if the pre-reqs are not completed? Will I have any chance of getting in if I do attend FSU to finish them?
