[Please help] Transfer to Berkeley?

Hi,

I am an international student who has been studying for 1 year in community college (in Washington). I do not have a high-school diploma since I came here for community college right after my 10th grade. My current gpa is 3.81 (but I took classes in two different colleges, so multiple transcripts) and I will try to get more As in the coming quarters.

Now I am planning to move to bay area cause I realized it may be a better living environment for me after I went there for a trip.

Do you think my chance of getting into Cal would be low if I transfer to California's community college and study for 1 year after my 2 years in Washington State?

Do they accept student without a high-school diploma?

I am really confused now. Anyone had a similar case as mine?

anyone can help?

If you’re not considered in-state, it’s going to be really hard for you to get in. For some reason, the UC’s greatly favor in-state CCC transfers as opposed to OOS. Make sure you have residency in CA (filed/approved) and then I’d say you have a good shot with your GPA…depending on your major.

That said, make sure you finish prereqs too.
