I just submitted my APP but I realized for the EOP program, I didn't enter "YES" or "NO." I didn't even put anything! I didn't have an intend to apply for EOP but will my application be considered INCOMPLETE?!??! Or am I just worrying too much?!?!

Uh oh. That's not good.

is this really bad....

That could be considered fraud if you declined to state your status. They won't know what to file your application as.

I cannot imagine that would make any big difference. They will probably assume no intent for EOP. Call a UC admin office and talk to them. You are probably worrying for nothing.

No need to worry. Only the questions with astericks are a must. maryc is right that no intention is assumed. There are hundreds of mistakes that applicants make every year. This type of mistake doesn't even affect your stats for admission unless you are a URM or low income.

ahhh! i didn't notice the astericks meant required... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! I'M SO RELIEFED NOW. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

glad to be of help. Now you can sleep.

green_apple, one last thing to reassure you - the way the online application is set up is that it won't let you go on to the next page of the application if you left out anything required. Example: if you left out your name, a message in red would appear telling you to fill in the required fields before you could go on to the next page. The fact that you hit the submit button and it went through means all required fields were filled in and the rest were optional. Good luck to you.
p.s.
I am a UC grad still active at UC and am mom to two ELC students so I have lots of experience with this stuff.
