please help! UC App questions!

<p>Hi!</p>

<p>My school has a quarter system, so I did put my quarter grades. But when UC recalcuate our GPA, do they use a year grade or total quarter grades?? </p>

<p>We don't need to send our school transcript for now right? Then I am confused as to how UC would average up my grades.. I had Bs in some quarters but I managed to bring my year grade to A by acing in other quarters. Please help!</p>

<p>Also, should I put my 1st senior quarter grades? I heard UC doesn't count senior grades.. would it tho if I put my 1st senior grades? Or is it not necessary to put it from the beginning?</p>

<p>You don’t have to worry about how they calculate GPA - that’s their business, they will do it in such a way that it standardizes the GPA for kids of all different grading systems.</p>

<p>You only send in your official transcript upon the request of it from a UC admissions office.</p>

<p>Put all the grades you have. Its better to have it than not, if they do decide to count it.</p>
