I think I will get 1A 2B 1C 2PASS with 3.5 GPA for this semester(3.7GPA before this semester).
I am wondering whether I need to report it for a decline in academic performance
However, when I go to the website, it said "Use this form if you drop or change any of the courses you indicated on your application, or if you receive poor grades (Ds, Fs, 3 or more Cs) in any of your fall or spring term courses." https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/ppf_tr/ppf_tr_login.htm
Does it mean I do not need to report it?
Thanks for any help in advance!

nope, you dont need to, when they mean academic drop, they only mean SERIOUS academic drops, infact im pretty sure since your GPA is high, even getting ALL Cs this semester wouldnt drop your cumulative below 3, so you dont need to report anything at all, unless you drop, get a D or F.

What do they mean by serious? I’m about in the same boat as the original post. Like do you have to drop .5?

I would consider having a cum. gpa of 3.8 at the time you applied and getting a cum. gpa of 3.2 after spring semester to be serious. If you had a 3.8 and dropped to a 3.6 i dont think that would be a serious problem. It has to be a big difference.

I don’t think it will effects your admission status… as long as you don’t get any Ds and Fs and remain GPA 3.0+

going from a 3.8–>3.2 would definitely be serious, not because of the GPA drop, but what made that GPA drop, dropping .6 would definitely involve getting more than 3 Cs in 5 uniters and or Ds and Fs.
