Hey I am having trouble deciding between UDUB and UW- madison. I am out of state for both but money isn't an issue at all. I visited both campus; Udub semmed really nice and extremely clean. However, I am not a huge fan of the rain and i hear it rain a lot over there. UW- Madison seemed like the ideal college town to me and i really liked it as well. As for my major, i plan to study Biology and both schools are almost identical in the bio rankings. As for overall ranking Wisco usually is given the edge. I'm really having trouble deciding between the two.. please help! lol Maybe add in which one you would pick..

These are in my top schools too! Its so hard, they really are almost identical. I would say if you want a really big city with TONS of stuff to do, go for Washington. Madison is a bit of a smaller city. Also, the rain isn’t that bad in Seattle, it is just grey a lot!

Yea but UW- Madison is an amazing college town! the atmosphere is incomparable. as of now i am leaning towards UW- Madison. and the school itself is just slightly better.

Sounds like you don’t need any help deciding to me :)

haha yeaa. the campus was awesome and gave me a feel that Udub didn’t.

LoL @ UW- Madison being slightly better.

Well it is. They are both great options, but according to rankings and my own knowledge, UW- madison does have a slight edge.

I’d have to disagree.
I went to UW-Seattle and I currently live in Madison, WI

Seattle is a bigger city for sure, but Madison isn’t small. (236,901 people certainly isn’t small…and that’s not counting connecting cities such as Middleton and Monona) There is plenty to do in Madison. The only difference is Seattle has more of the same stuff ( # yogurt shops vs ## yogurt shops). Madison is a very liberal, highly educated city, with lots to do around here.

True there isn’t alot of HEAVY rain in Seattle. Just constant drizzle with grey skies most of the year. I lived in Seattle for 13+ years and didn’t realize the extent of it until I moved to Madison and see bright skies!
