Well, I was accepted to UCLA with a Geography major. But i need to drop out of a statistics class. Will it affect my acceptance?? Will it be rescinded? I need to know fast please if anyone can help. UCLA does not seem to be picking up there phone.

keep callin em up at 1-800-DIALUCLA

Is that really their number?

No because LA’s area code is 310

Bonks Barclay’s head

hi, i actually have the same dilemma. i am in stats but i am on the borderline of a C/D. i was freaking out so i went to my transfer counselor and she said that they would revoke my admissions because it happened to someone else who applied. i asked if i could take it in the summer and she said no. the only school that will allow you to take a major course in the summer is Riverside. she told me to go there in stead. i said hell no i’ll take my risks. she told me i could also appeal their decision.

dude, work your butt off and get a C.

thats what i hope to do my friend told me to sleep 4 hours if i have to cuz who knows when i will get another chance to transfer to ucla. lol

Yea, I guess thats what I’m going to do.

Statistics is hard, but I highly recommend meeting with a tutor and using the solution manual. Also, be sure to talk to your professor. They are almost always willing to help if you let them know that your future depends on it.

If all else fails, call UCLA and ask. See if they need you to finish that class in order to be admitted. Don’t drop until you speak to someone directly.

Ya, I called them and the guy told me that you couldnt tell me until I actually dropped. They didn’t deal in hypothetical.
