<p>Hey, the problem isn't that weird it is an ordinary SAT problem that I can't solve. Just said weird to catch your attention so you would help me ( which I'm very grateful for).</p>

<p>ok this might not be the best way but here’s how I approached it</p>
<p>S + R + G = 65
let x= number of students
then x/2 = S, x/3= R, x/4= G </p>
<p>substituted those in to the = 65 equation</p>
<p>x/2 + x/3 + x/4 = 65
multiply through by 12, the LCD</p>
<p>6x + 4x + 3x = 780
13x=780
divide both sides by 13
there are 60 students in the class</p>
<p>not too elegant but hey it got the job done</p>

<p>Hey! Thats exactly how I did it! I just didn’t get the logic of it. Cheers dude! </p>
<p>I started from the x/2+x/3+x/4=65 section and got 60 but afterward I didn’t get why I wrote x/2 and so on…</p>
