I am an international student and I want to know which college out of the following list gives most financial aid to international undergraduate students:

Williams
Wesleyan
Swarthmore
Trinity College
U of richmond

I have searched the internet but all the answers there are just too contradictory, so any help and insight will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Williams is the only school on the list that is need blind for international students. FOr the rest of the schools, your ability to pay will be a factor in admissions (financial aid).

Williams is need blind for internationals?? I didn’t know that. Thanks for ur help! :)

"Williams College Ends Need-Blind Admissions for International Students

“Williams College must alter its need-blind admissions process for international students beginning this fall because of the college’s “changed financial situation,” said its interim president, Bill Wagner, in a letter released yesterday. While admissions officials will not know the level of each applicant’s need, they will know which applicants have applied for aid and will “aim to build an entering cohort that is not only academically strong but that is geographically and economically diverse.” The announcement follows a decision two weeks ago to end the college’s no-loan policy.”

Keep in mind that schools that are known to give lots of aid to those with lots of need do NOT give lots of aid to every student.

If these schools look at your family’s finances and think that your family should pay all or nearly all costs, then it doesn’t matter that they give “lots of aid” to other students.
