Please help with Chances at Admission?

<p>Hello there, I would really appreciate it if I could get some feedback on my chances of getting into this(I’m going for Engineering):</p>

<p>-Boston University</p>

<p>Here are some of my stats:</p>

<p>-MA Resident, Male, Asian</p>

<p>-3.8589 Weighted GPA(not sure unweighted, school doesn’t tell)
(3.6 in grade 9, 3.8 in 10, 4.2 in 11, currently a 4.2 senior year)
-15/239 class rank
-1840 SAT I-670 Math, 640 CR, 530 Writing
-7 AP Classes(person with most in school is 8)(Calc AB, Stats, Physics, Bio, English 11 & 12, APUSH)</p>

<p>EC’s/Misc.
-Varsity tennis(11 & 12) Note: Was second singles first year
-Guitar(9-12)
-Karate(9-10)
-Swimming(9)
-Mathletes(12)
-AP Scholar
-Science Department Award Junior Year
-Computer/Technology Department Award Freshman Year</p>

<p>I’m open to all feedback, responses, tips, constructive criticism, etc.</p>

<p>Your SATs are a bit low and the Engineering school is one of the more difficult ones to get into at BU.</p>

<p>With that being said it’s not impossible to get in, it’ll just be a slight reach. You may be able to overcome you lower score with a really good essay and recommendations though.</p>

<p>Okay thanks for the feedback hopeful, I was thinking about retaking the SAT in December, I mean I have nothing to lose pretty much. If I got a 1950 composite do you think I could have around a 50%+ of getting in?</p>
