Hi. I'm going to be a senior in High-school and I have a few questions. While I'm at it it includes 1 on the SAT. Here Goes.
1. Am I supposed to take the Sat in Fall? Most colleges application are in the fall.
2. Does it matter exactly if I'm going to a Junior College to submit app in the fall?
3. Will Extracurriculars kill my App? I don't have many at all.
4. How do I feel Better about the sat? I'm smart but I've not studied alot for the Sat.
5 Is it mandatory to meet the College's sat average to even have a shot at the school? IE Washington is 1700. Not confident there.
Thanks for a lot of help

If you haven’t taken the SAT yet then the Fall is the best time to do so. Normally your SAT scores are due towards the end of the application period. Check with each school to be sure when to submit scores.

If you decide to go to Junior College or Community College check with the school on when applications are due. In my experience they aren’t due until late Spring.

Not at all. Most schools place significant weight on Test Scores, GPA/Class Rank, and rigor of secondary work. While ECs are important and can push you over the edge when another area is lacking, they won’t hold you back unless you are applying to a top 50 school.

Take some practice tests and see how you do. This can give you confidence heading in, or show you that practice is needed in order to reach an optimal score.

It is not mandatory at all. The median is just the middle score. 50% are higher and 50% are lower. While it helps to be over the median score, it does not eliminate your chances if you are below it. Check the 25%/75% SAT scores at the schools you are applying. This will give you a better view on what scores you need.
