Please help with math classes at EPGY!

Good morning everyone. I am not sure that this is the right place for this thread but I need some help with math classes for next year. I will be taking differential equations and linear algebra at a local college but in addition to that I want to take some clases through EPGY. I and my friend plan t enroll together because we can learn math significantly faster when we work together.
We are thinking about taking any of the following classes: number theory, logic, real analysis, complex analysis, partial deq, topolgy, and modern algebra.

For each class plese tell me:
1. your experience with the class, did you like it?did the mentor help? was the class hard?
2. how much time did you spend with the class a week and how many months did it take you to finish it? taking into account that I will study with a friend 6-8 hours a week, how many months should it take us to finish the class?
3. do you know about a different online program that teaches the class better than EPGY?

I could be mistaken, and perhaps I’m confusing the EPGY program with Johns Hopkins CTY,
[CTYOnline[/url]
but some of these on-line courses are billed by time rather than by course, ie., if you progress fast and finish early, you can begin the next course and not pay any more. If this indeed is the case, doing it when you have more free time (say summer break) would be more cost effective since they are quite pricey.

I think you mentioned linear algebra - there is a wonderful free course at MIT:

where you can view the actual lectures at MIT. There is no grading or help that you would get with EPGY or CTY, but it’s absolutely free, as are other courses in physics, engg. and other areas.
