I am 2nd year college student attending a Penn State Branch Campus.

Im interested in a future career in investment banking/banking/finance.

I got accepted into Penn State's University Park Campus for Management but I really need to major in Finance. However, I dont have the required 3.5 GPA.

I have started applying to other schools. What should i do?

Should I Go to PSU Main Campus and double major in Management & Economics.

or transfer to one of these following schools and major specifically in Finance?

UPitt
St. John's University (NY)
Drexel
Cornell (pending acceptance)
Rutgers New Brunswick

Feel free to leave any feedback. Thanks

You’d probably be better off posting in the Penn State forum. Good luck!

Bump. 10 Characters

Bump. Still looking for opinions

I’d say your best bet is to get to Penn State’s main campus, work your butt off, and get into the Finance program. With a higher GPA you might have a shot, otherwise I’d imagine getting into IB is going to be pretty tough assuming you’re not extremely well connected.

Have you been accepted to these other schools?

Are they affordable to you?

If you can get accepted into finance at these schools and your parents will pay, then go.

I’ve broken it down to either PSU ( double major in management & econ) or UPitt (Finance)?

Still looking for advice. My parents cant afford to pay for my education. Im using Financial Aid, Scholarships and Loans
