I'm applying to Villanova and I know that it is a catholic school. however, i am not catholic or even christian.

i am firm in my own religious beliefs but i am ok being surrounded by people of other religions. i'm very accepting and open minded.

do you think they would not accept me because in the essay i mention my religion (which makes it clear that i am not catholic?)

i don't need rude/sassy comments - this is a true question and i do not know anything about catholic universities or stuff like that so i want to know if its a bad move (my essay)

You might be better off posting this on the Villanova page but I really don’t think not being Catholic would be a problem (and if it is, you would probably be better off elsewhere).

I go to villanova; they are completely accepting of all religious beliefs and most definitely would not reject you because you are not Catholic or Christian.

Even if you choose to identify your religion on the common app, the villanova admissions office will not accept that information from the college board. So don’t worry about it.
