Please help with the Nov 1st deadline!

I'm applying to Univ of Oregon and I was just about to submit my online app and order my sat and act scores sent to the school. But I just realized that it takes weeks for them to send out the test scores, so I don't know what to do! Does the deadline mean they need to have received the scores by that day or does it mean that as long as they get the app by that day and the scores later on it'll be fine? I sent my high school transcript on monday so that is taken care of. Please help me out if you know anything.

i’m in the same boat. i saw in some other threads people said to rush them, which i didnt do. idk if its worth the $30 for a couple months of time advance notice

so what to do? I guess I’ll have to call the admissions office tomorrow. Since i already submitted my transcript, will they keep until the regular deadline? Or do i have to send them another when the time comes for regular admission?

The FAQ page on the University of Oregon site says, “If you meet guaranteed admission requirements, you will receive an admission decision as soon as your complete application (including all transcripts, test scores) is received and processed.” I think that probably means that you only have to have your application in by the deadline, not your test scores or transcript, but you might want to call or email their admissions office to confirm that.

I ordered ACT results sent to Tulane yesterday. I ordered by phone and was told that since Tulane has opted to receive scores electronically, that they would receive them by email tonight. Call and see how Oregon receives the scores.
There was a $12 extra phone service fee, but I didn’t have the ACT id number and son hadn’t put his ss# on the test, so I had to have them search for him in the records.
