I listed 6 schools down.

The FAFSA application was processed.

I went back and deleted 2 and updated the application with 2 new ones.

A. Are the two schools I deleted still going to get my FAFSA?
B. Are the schools that I left untouched going to get my FAFSA twice?

"Corrections" to FAFSA are actually updates. Any change will create a new transaction. The previous transactions (= earlier data) are still available to any school listed to receive that info.

Example: You listed schools 1-6 on Transaction 1, then "corrected" the FAFSA to list schools 7-12. You now have created two transactions. The info is available to all 12 schools. Now, you do your taxes and want to change financial data. You make a correction to Transaction 1 (schools 1-6), creating another transaction. The data from BOTH Transaction 1 and Transaction 3 is available to schools 1-6. You can change the school list on Trans 3 (correct info, wrong schools) or change the data on Trans 2 (wrong info, right schools) to create Transaction 4 (right financial ino, schools 7-12). Schools 1-6 now will have access to Transactions 1 and 3; schools 7-12 will have access to Transaction 2 and 4.

If you still have questions, call the FAFSA help line 800-433-3243. They can make the changes for you (if simple, such as changing schools on a previous transaction). The benefit is that the transaction is processed while you are on the phone! (If you are online at the same time and refresh your screen, you will see the new transaction listed as processed!)
