please help :(

ok so i am 10th grade in highschool
i am pretty good student never getting lower than 4.0 since fresh [of course weighted]
so this is what happened
i have been suspended for smoking tobacco on campus about 6 months ago
i know its stupid
since it was only one suspension i thought if i explain it fair enough then it wont destroy my
application that much
but unfortunately, 3 days ago i have been caught jumping over the fence to go to cvs during lunch
then of course the security had to search my bag and theres tobacco!
because i was with a guy known for drug who i met for the first time
VP asked me why i would hangout with this guy when i am pretty good student
then i explained that it was first time i met him blah blah
anyways i talked to the principal that two suspension would look really ugly for my college app
so please can you not suspend me then he said he cant but if i dont make any trouble and keep my grades up he will write me a letter of recommendation.
but of course my asian parents werent enough with that they visited school and talked to the dean then dean said if i dont make any trouble till then he will not put it on the transcript.
so what i want to ask you guys is
what things should i check before applying for the college to make sure my suspension record isnt there.
so like what things are sent to the college?
and if there arent any record of my suspension
can i mark no on have you ever been suspended question?
what other things should i be aware of?

thx guys
sorry about the grammar im like shaking right now

As a mom, I count at least four problems:
ongoing tobacco use (even though you have already been suspended once)
jumping over the fence
hanging out with a known troublemaker
lying about it.
Yes, you have been suspended. It is up to you to change your path, not because of college admissions, but because it is the right thing to do now.

Do you have a college counselor at your school that you can talk to for advice?

Right, you were smoking “tobacco” ;). Bro, if you’re gonna smoke at least do it in a secluded area. You seem like you have the potential to do well, so why risk that for a buzz? As for your so called permanent record, just write an essay explaining about what you learned from your experience. Better that than to not acknowledge it, because they probably will see it.
