yo dont be hatin on my vernacular son, you wish you could be mad chill like i am

hotpiece, if you live north of the mason-dixon line, you're yankee

boy, i tell you what, spyder, i'm not a 'son', im just a lil ol texas gal

The mason-dixion line is nothing anymore. Maryland and Northern Virgina are more yankeeish then Pennsylvannia, affectionately called pennsatucky due to its kentucky feel outside of Philly.

Baltimore, DC and its burbs are some of the most liberal, progressive, anti traditional, yankee adoring, fastlife money adherents, cockpits in america--- NOT SAYING ANYTHING IS WRONG WITH THAT SINCE I LIVE HERE AND I AM PART OF THAT LIBERAL COCKPIT.

biz, you're right...i guess the m-d line is more of a traditional indicator of yankeeness or southerness...id venture to say that north carolina and down is pretty bonafide southern (i.e. if you exclude the more urban areas which tend to be progressive of course)

I live in southern ohio. Which is pretty country. Everyone talks with like a southern accent and stuff. It's a little weird, considering that it is still the midwest.

i think southern accents are hot

^ my contribution

I think we would get along very well spydertennis. We should really date when we get to Cambridge.

hahahaha okk... im down i guess, you gotta remember though cause im going to forget

It's not as bad as "tubular" or "as if." (I hear those alot from the Cali transfers... shudders).

We also say "y'all" alot.

deadhead your right, everyones right, i like the vibe here

Aight chumps, Immma head on down to da rooom and take wonnna dem napp thangs. Round here ere body sleeps jussssss abouut sun dawon. Giidddde Upppp

Try living waaaaaaaaaay up north....

Biz, I'd have to disagree with you on DC's burbs...

DC is alot like it is here here: very liberal inner-city core with extremely conservative suburbs.

wow noooo way, Washington, DC's suburbs are one of the most liberal areas in the Nation. Prince Georges County is 70% black and is 90% democrat, Montgomery County is very wealthy and also 90% democrat, Fairfax is huge and also wealthey and 60% democrat. All of the suburbs have democratic executives and often vote democratically. There is a lot of money in these suburbs and a lot of political action, and let me tell you its blue action not red.

check your rank, your gpa might seem low at 2.7 but if you have a phenomenal rank, then harvard will understand your grading system better. that is why rank is important. if your school doesnt rank then make sure your gc explains it.
