Please help

I am in my last year of IB and I'm taking IB exams at the moment. When I started IB I wanted a 45/45 but now I'm sure that will not happen, if I carry on taking the exams now I may get a 41. Would I have a better chance of getting into Harvard if I retake these exams? I know I could do really well if I had a bit more time - if I get a 45 after having retaken, would this still be impressive? Or would Harvard see someone retaking something such as the SAT or IB exams as someone who cares too much about their score..?
I also arrived at school halfway through the year last year, so a quarter of my time to study was gone and I had to catch up with everything from that period. This is probably why I am not up to standard and, if I do retake, this would be the explanation I would give..
Thank you for your advice in advance,

If you are in your last year of IB, are you not graduating?

My D dropped out of IB .She is a Sophmore at Harvard . It’s what you do with your time that matters ,not IB .
