Please Help

Hello College Confidential Members.

I need some help. I was recently admitted to Yale, which I am extremely excited about. Unfortunately, I have been having some personal conflict with my english teacher. I got a good grade 3rd quarter (a 'B', which is what I have gotten in English throughout high school), but now they are making me switch into a different, lower leveled english class.

They told me that they are not going to go out of their way to tell colleges or to get me into more trouble, but I am still very, very worried.

What, if anything, should I tell the colleges I have been admitted to?

I am not in trouble with my other classes/teachers and I have continued to do interesting extracurricular activities.

How much trouble am I in? I don't want this to ruin the rest of my life. Right now I am feeling like that might be the outcome.

Thank you.

You’ll be fine. Don’t mention it. Yale accepted you, and switching to another class at this point isn’t going to ruin your life.

Ds, Fs or felonies. Steer clear and you’re fine. Got it?

Relax.

but don’t people get rescinded for less?

Anyway thanks for the encouragement. It went will help me get sleep tonight and I might even be able to enjoy the weekend now.

Yale has moved heaven and earth to see you admitted. They aren’t gonna pull out the rug for something as ridiculously inconsequential as what you’ve written about.

Don’t focus on the minors. You’re about to enter college (very good one, from your choices). Chillax
