I have finished my applications but however, I have a problem with the Graded Writing Sample. It has not been accurately scanned, and it is night in here, so there is no way I could scan it again.... and the deadline is today!!!... :/ what should i do? Do you think they will accept it tomorrow?? ...

Does anyone have an iPhone? You could take a picture of each page. Attach the photos to an email, or submit by online portal? (I don’t have a kid applying, so I’m not up to speed on the online application processes.)

Or, take a picture of each page.
Export each photo from iPhoto to your desktop (choose maximum resolution for each photo.)
Open photo file from desktop in preview.
“Export” photo from preview. (i.e., choose the preview menu option, “export”)
Choose to save image as PDF.
Presto–you have a pdf file of the page. Repeat for each page of your graded writing sample.

Submit as you would a pdf prepared by a scanner.

On another thread, someone mentioned the CamScanner app (I think they have iPhone and Android versions) that makes PDFs from phone pix. My wife used it to scan my daughter’s graded essay and it worked perfectly.

There is a Windows Phone version too. I may be one of only 52 people in the world with a Windows Phone, but I love it! :-)
