4 years on varsity volleyball

I plan on taking a total of 7 APs

Good amount community service

Grades improved a lot from sophomore year to junior year

Have been a server at church all years of high school & even before

Here are some colleges I would like to apply to and would like to know my chances of being accepted

University of Arizona
University of Houston
University of New Mexico
San Diego State University
San Jose State University
University of Florida
University of California Santa Barbara
University of Central Florida
Florida State University

Thanks!

I can only help with the schools I know about.
U of A: Match
SDSU: Low reach
UCSB: Reach

I would say improve your ACT 4/5 points to be in the running for SDSU. They look for 3.7 GPA and a 27 ACT for in state applicants. You’re out of state so maybe they would accept lower. UCSB looks for slightly higher GPA and SAT/ACT. They also only look at 10-11 grades. U of A has a high acceptance rate, and they accept a wide variety of scores. Also I think you should add some more ECs. Best of luck!

Except for UHouston (which is a match), all these universities are public and out of state: do your parents have about 200k in a college fund for you? If not, can they afford these universities at out of state costs? (You won’t get any scholarship and all you can borrow as a freshman is $5,500)
What’s wrong with your in-state options or private colleges located in TX, AZ, CA, or FL?
For your stats, you’d have a good shot at Flagler, Florida Southern, Whittier, Loyola Marymount LA, Westminster Mesa, perhaps Trinity College (TX).

Yes, my parents have a college fund with enough to send me to these schools. These public schools for just have more of what I am looking for, but I will look into those other options, thanks!
