Please Help!!!

Okay, so I applied ED to Princeton and got deferred, and I'm almost 100 percent sure I'm going to be rejected now, so that school is out of the picture. Anyway, right now I'm leaning towards being a journalist. I was admitted to USC's Annenberg School of Journalism with a partial scholarship. I'm also in at University of Michigan's Residential College and probably Honors too. I'm in at some other schools, but it is basically between USC and U Mich. I haven't actually seen Mich yet, but I've heard great things about it. Now, I'm not sure if I'm definitely going into Journalism, but I can always double major at USC. My choice is less than desirable, unfortunately, but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on the pros and cons of Michigan and USC. Thanks a lot, and I know this was rambling!

Michigan doesn't have a journalism program. How do you feel about cold weather? Do you care about sports? Do you consider yourself to be "liberal" politically? Michigan students are probably more laid back than at USC - and, I imagine, more liberal/activist.
