I'm picking between Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, and Brown. Is it true that Harvard pays no attention to it's undergrads? And how is Princeton's campus? And what college do you think is the best for a biology major?

Have you actually been accepted to these schools? I only ask because this seems late to be making decisions. If you’re not in yet, I think you’re counting your chickens before they hatch. All those schools are very selective, you should probably apply to all of them and revisit this question when you know which ones are actually options.

Are you trying to decide which one to apply to early? If so, I would first consider the personalities of each school. Do a bit of research. Watch some of the videos on their Youtube channels. Get to know these schools beyond their names. If you are concerned about an undergraduate focus, Princeton does an awesome job with that because their are more undergraduate students there than undergrads. I will also say that Princeton’s campus may very well be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You’d like it if you enjoy Gothic architecture. It all about aesthetic preference really. I can honestly say I don’t know a whole lot about Cornell, but I know that Harvard does a great job with the sciences in general. Princeton is good too, but they are the top for engineering. Brown to me… Well, you have to love what Brown stands for to go to Brown, which you might. I would just say do your homework before you make any kind of decision. It really helps if you can get a hold of people who attend these schools and ask them questions that may be on interest to you. For instance, I know two kids who graduated from my high school who attend Yale, and to me, our personalities are very different. After visiting Princeton, I could see that academically, it was a good fit, but it wasn’t terrific for me socially. If you’re a senior, you don’t have much time left to figure these things out, so I would get started, but most importantly, make sure you find 2 or three safety schools that you absolutely love. Mine are NYU, Vassar, and Wellesley. Good Luck!

Thanks

On another thread you wrote:

“I am a high school freshman, and know this is a very early start but I am casually looking around and I’ve heard that Cornell is a very good school. Besides from the academics how is the campus, activities, weather, safety ect.”

Perhaps you need to make that clear on this thread as well.

Thanks! I’m brand new to this website

He’s most likely a freshman sophomore on here looking for a bit of attention. His username ending in 99 should probably give away the fact that he was born in 1999. He is one of the most obvious examples of cat fishing on this forum.
