I took the sat many times and I have my best single sitting at 2300 with a CR of 700 and another sitting with a 2120 but a CR of 720. So for colleges that accept score choice should I just send both scores for a superscore of 2320 or would a single sitting 2300 look better to admit officers? Thanks in advance.
The difference between a 2320 and a 2300 is negligible. Just send the single sitting unless the college requires you to send all scores.
I’m an international student btw if that makes a difference.
Well, the difference is negligible, as said above. But I do think the CR of 720 is important. No idea of the colleges you are applying too, but I might send The super score of 2320 to colleges which don’t require all tests. For colleges that require all tests, I would just send the 2300. That is obviously significantly better than the 2120. CR is certainly more important than writing in the eyes of many colleges, so you want to submit that 720 where possible.
Send the 2300. There’s a 40pts variation from test to test, so that your 20 pt difference wouldn’t matter.
Well, If there is a superscore policy, send both, better score.
If they will look at all your tests, why show them the significantly lower score.
Also, sending scores costs money, so that carries some value as well.
So basically a 2300 from one try is better than a 2320 from two.
