Several people have mentioned that schools look at the rigor of the classes that the applicant has completed (such as upper divisions, 200/300). I am looking to transfer to Williams or Brown from UCLA, but have only taken lower divisions (although many of them were honor courses). Do you recommend taking upper division courses in the next quarters? In addition, my passion (and major) is Art History, and I definately want to portray that to be my niche. Although I am currently interning at the UCLA Hammer museum through the J. Paul Getty Museum, and have completed and presented my independent research in art history, I have not taken many art history courses. For the next following quarters, should i focus on completing classes within my major, rather than general requirements? Thanks sooo much, any help is appreciated since I have recently began looking into the world of transferring!
