Sorry if this question has already be posted, but does the same rule apply for Early Decision II in that you can't have applied Early Decision somewhere else?
Also--where on the Pomona website does it discuss how many teacher recommendations you need? I've only seen the form for the counselor rec.
Thanks so much!!

If you've been denied or deferred under another college's Early Decision plan, you can still apply to Pomona under Early Decision 2. It's just that you cannot be under two ED applications at the same time. But Pomona's ED2 is still binding, so if you get accepted under it, you must attend.

Pomona requires two Teacher Evaluations and uses the Common App's forms for them. Also, there is a required Common Application Supplement, a required School Report Supplement, and a required signatures form - don't forget these!

Thank you!
Do they take the applicant's financial situation before binding them? I'm curious as to what can happen if a student gets accepted ED, but the financial aid package isn't sufficient enough.

Oh and one last question...
Can the 2 teacher evaluations be from teachers of the same core subject?

Fortunately, Pomona does not take applicants' financial situation into consideration when they admit them. I read an article online [but can't find the link now] in which the dean of admission at Pomona says that the college has enough endowment that they have the "luxury" of admitting the students without worrying about their financial situations and then sending the list of admitted to the financial office to determine aids. As Pomona is one of the schools in the nation that have one of the highest endowment per student, the school is need-blind, meaning that they take students regardless of their financial situation. Furthermore, they usually meet 100% of the students' financial need and offers mostly/only need-based aid[not sure about mostly/only part, correct me if I am wrong]. If their financial package still cannot fulfill your need, then you can use that reason to turn them down. I BELIEVE that is the only reason that you can turn down your ED school without being blacklisted.
As for your second question, I do not think Pomona has a rule about forbidding 2 evaluations from teachers of the same core subject, but personally, I would not recommend it. Try to get a teacher from another subject area, even if he/she does not give the best recommendation for you. It gives the admission officers a better picture of you. Ask the teacher from whom you think you will get the best rec, and another one from another subject area from whom you believe you will get receive a good rec. Then I think you are good to go. And also, recommendations are important and can boost your chance, but they are not the most important part of the application, so do not stress too much about it. [but who am I kidding, every part of the app is stressful! =[ ] Ok, I hope all these helped, haha. I am applying ED II too! SOO SCARED >< so good luck to you too, writemap!
