<p>Basically, I have figured out what my main question is regarding premed education. Is it better to follow an already made pathway to med school, such as “Biomedical Engineering: Premed”?, or will it not matter if you follow your path, such as majoring in some science and still fulfilling the requirements. I ask this question because I have been accepted into UCD under a science major, while I have been accepted under UCI under Biomedical Engineering: Premedical emphasis.</p>
<p>You can take whatever classes you want as long as you complete all prereq classes for med school. It would be better to get into a major that fulfills all prereqs, but as long as you finish all of them, you can take a class in whatever you want.</p>
