Please help......

Hi. can anyone help me with this question. Thanks

Qn.
If the admission committee has made a decision on my application either on last thursady afternoon (18th March) or friday (19th March), but I receive no email on Friday(13th March) about my acceptance to Emory, then is it right and quite sure to say that I have been rejected?

I think everyone who get accepted will receive a email from the undergrad office prior to the arrival of the regular mail package.............

They don't send an e-mail unless you are an international student living outside the US. Just attack your mail person every day until you get it ^^

I got accepted, but I didn't recieve an e-mail.

vtoodler did u get an email or any other type of notification that they had made a decision on ur app-before the acceptance letter came?

No, I got an acceptance letter, and only that.

However, I know one way that you could POSSIBLY (not guranteed to work) find out whether or not you were accepted.

I dont' think they've even looked at my application yet. I just confirmed that they received my check two weeks ago.

vtoodler, did you get a letter in the mail? Are you a URM?

vtoodle, r u an international applicant or applicant with international background (citizen or Resident Alien of US studied outside US). I am a Resident Alien of US living outside US (Singapore).

If they do send email to int'l national or ppl living abroad an email to tell them abt the acceptance, then i am SCREWED

Actually, are all accepted international students and applicants with international education background (who have studied outside of US) suppose to receive an e-mail prior to the official notice of acceptance?

Or it is not a standard procedure of notification and just happen to a few ppl?

Please help thanks

I am a URM---black specifically.

Yes, I recieved an acceptance letter in the mail. I'm not an international application. I reside in the US. However, I do have Nigerian citizenship.

btw---I have a question. How many airports are there in Atlanta?

Wats the method that u r toking abt buddy?
please reply ASAP =)

Dying to find out
Thanks alot

Are you talking bout RD???
Have they made all the decisions???

They have made all the decision for international applicants and applicants with international education background last week. The last notices are going out this week.

im pretty sure hartsford is the only main one. if there is another one, its rarely used.

Do they post decisions on their website???

"However, I know one way that you could POSSIBLY (not guranteed to work) find out whether or not you were accepted."

How???

a) they do not post results online
b) The way to check if you were accepted or not is to go to it.emory.edu/newid and check if you can change your current opus password. If you succeed, welcome to emory. If you don't, your account has not been activated yet. If you don't get accepted, your account should be deleted for future classes.

Another possible way is to log into opus, and see if you have an e-mail address under Emory University.

Yeah, HartsFIELD is the one that is mainly used. You coming to visit?

I'm definitely coming to visit. and it's free. unfortuneatly, I'm not taking a plane.
