Hi...I'm a British student who has attended an American school for over 8 years.
I'm currently a junior that goes to an American international school in Korea because of my father's job.

I TOTALLY MESSED UP IN MY FRESHMAN YEAR.
I got something like a 3.57 in the 1st semester...and 3.4 in the 2nd semester...

BUT I got 3.7s in my sophomore year, 3.9 in my 1st semester of junior year and I expect to get the same in my junior year.

I'm taking a total of 2 AP classes so far and I'm planning to take 2 more next year.

I have won various speech awards and am a part of the Speech&Debate(Forensics) Club and Mu Alpha Theta(Mathematics Honor Society)

I have also gotten a total of 2100 on my latest SAT (800 Math, 720 Reading, 680 Writing)

Is there any chance of me getting in a Top 20 American university??

Well, cuz ur an international, top 20 schools may be tough if u request financial aid (cuz ur fairly average)…
If you dont request aid, u can very likely make top 20 schools.

Wow. You should be fine depending on your major, but something is telling me you either suck at math or are lying… You should know what your overall SAT is…

lol wow i’m sorry people are giving you such a hard time over the typing 700 instead of 800 thing. haha it’s really not a big deal, anyway your SAT score (even if it’s 2100 instead of 2200 lol) is really good but your GPA is pretty low for ivy leagues, you definitely have a shot at a top 20 school though. Try to bring up your GPA to at least 4.0 if it’s possible and take the SAT again and aim for around 2200. good luck!
