<p>hey guys...i was just wondering but would it hurt my chances of getting into a college because I got an A as the final grade for my AP Stat class but a 3 on the AP exam?</p>

<p>It won’t worry too much. AP scores have very little weight in college admissions. And you can hide your score since you self-report your AP scores on the application. But, a 3 is perfectly fine and I wouldn’t hide that score.</p>

<p>i was just kind of disappointed because i worked really really hard this year in Stat…i was actually thinking of dropping it midway thru the year but decided to stick with it…I ended up with an A- as my final grade, less than 0.5 from an A (arghgh)</p>
<p>so i thought i did really well but i guess not :/…</p>
<p>I’m just hoping the colleges won’t think it was grade inflation b/c i really don’t think it was</p>
