Please help!

On my studednt account it says i have a BOG Enrollment Waver of -$317.00
can someone tell me what exactly this is? and what happens if i pay it or not pay it. Would the school cancel my classes? i already payed the tuition for them through other means but now this number pops up on my balance

Well, a negative on a bill is a credit meaning it would be used to offset a charge or be returned to you as a refund.

Are you in Ca? In Ca, the Board of Governors Enrollment Waiver is state aid that pays certain enrollment fees for eligible students.

Negative usually means they owe you. I don’t know specifically what a BOG fee is as that sounds specific to your school (or state). Ask your school. But if it is a fee waiver it does not sound like you owe money.

Yeah im from CA. this is what it says specifically on my account

Unbilled Account Activity
Account Balance: -$317.00

Effective Date Term Description Charge Payment Post Date

Aug 11, 2010 Fall 2010 BOG Health Waiver $5.00 Aug 11, 2010
Aug 10, 2010 Fall 2010 BOG Enrollment Waiver $312.00 Aug 10, 2010

When i click on credit card payment it says “Payment Amount -$317.00”

My school is just strict on pay fee or they drop all classes, and this enrollment fee waiver and health fee waiver and bog health fee are confusing to me

[CCCApply - Money - BOG Fee Waiver](http://www.cccapply.org/bog_waiver/)

Well I saw that before but it didnt do much, shrinkrap can you look at my post above yours and tell me anything you might possibly know?

I know nothing personally, but I found info about BOG for most CCC’s. Maybe your school has more into that will reassure you. It sounds like you applied for two fee waivers, got them, they were applied to your account, which now has a negative balance. A negative balance means you do not owe any money.

Yeah that sounds right, I think it is just class credit then. Ill need to go to the office tomorrow and get info on all that. At least i know my classes wont be droped tho
