<p>I was just wondering if anyones parents received there W-2 forms yet to file taxes? My mother has not received hers yet, does she have to put in a request for them or does her employer does mail them to her? Please reply, I would like fill out my fafsa but dont have information?</p>
<p>I believe it is required by law that she receive them by the end of January. She should call her human resources/benefits office and ask where the forms are. Many large corporations post copies on-line.</p>
<p>Next time you can fill out your FAFSA using estimates taken from your mom's pay stubs and check the "will file" status. In that way, you will receive your EFC, your schools will receive a preliminary SAR which will save your place in the finaid line and allow them to begin work on your aid packages, then once your mom's W-2 becomes available, you can go online and update your FAFSA with the correct info so the EFC/SAR will be finalized as will your college aid pkgs.</p>
