I graduated with a degree in MET (mechanical engineering technology) less than a year ago. what I really want to be is a civil engineer. The problem is that I am almost at the max for undergrad student loans; I only have 9,000 i can take out and this will not be enough to complete my CE degree. I will only need about 60 credits to get this done; I’ve taken all the physics, calculus, and few engineering classes.
My graduating GPA is 2.7. I am thinking graduate studies that could potentially allow me to take undergrad class to finish my civil engineering degree. this seems complicated but i am really looking for some input please. or if there is any other way? I was looking at University of North Dakota online degree and it looks legit but i would be paying $649/credit; and the loan limit i have as an undergraduate wont allow me to complete the degree. thanks kindly in advance.
