please I need some help with upper division courses in public health

Hello,

I am a transfer student from CC. I would like to know how hard upper division Public health in San Diego and Berkeley .
How many courses should I take to graduate. Is it possible to finish all my classes in two years. And also I like to know about Public health policy in Irvine. I don't want to take math&chem. How hard is Bio statistic and epidemiology.

In terms of how many classes you’ll need to take, you need 120 semester units to graduate, and you need to complete all your requirements (degree requirements and GE). That’ll be different at every school, and it’ll depend on what coursework you’ve completed when you enter. And yes,

As an example, at Berkeley you would pull up something like this[/url">http://sph.berkeley.edu/undergraduate-major/course-requirements"]this or this[/url">http://sph.berkeley.edu/sites/default/files/2013handbook.pdf’]this. Determine which requirements you’ve already met. Look at the remaining requirements, use that to determine how many more classes (and which classes) you’ll have to take. If you’ve not done IGETC, you’ll have to look at your college’s GE requirements as well. Try writing out classes by semester, that’ll give you an idea of how much you should be taking each semester, and if you should look into summer session or an extra semester.

The major requirements at each school should tell you if you’ll need more math, chem, or bio. You’ll need to look into that at each school though.

As for difficulty, how do you define the word? New, challenging material? Workload? Grade distributions? Ratemyprofessor and school sites should be able to tell you grade distributions and ratings for the classes you’ll take.

I’m going to be a public health major probably at UCI or UCSD. UCI has two plans and if you havent completed calc 1 and calc 2 along with gen chem and ochem, well youre looking at 18 units per quarter to graduate in 2 years. This is solely based on what the plan i given for UCI. What requirements have you completed prior to transfer
