So im applying ED to NYU (Steinhardt) so i just sent my application to the school. Now I thought the next logical step was to then send my SAT scores. I go to college board to send it. I didnt think much of it because i finished my testing last march so i didnt thhink i need to rush my reports because they were already finished. I unfortunaly see two choices: regular or rushed reports. O jesus, i realised it just applies to when the send it! Uh-oh. Im applying ED have my aplication in without my SAT scores, do I rush them, it says NYU doesnt like that...WHAT DO I DO!

Call admissions first thing tommorow. I understand that the reason NYU doesn't like rushed scores is because they're computerized (or the regular scores are computerized). Either way, the format those scores are in make it harder for NYU to get your whole application together. Because of this, I would think you should send your scores in regular regardless, as soon as you can talk with admissions.

The Admissions Office at NYU receives regular electronic downloads of SAT and ACT exam results. Once you request that the College Board release your scores to NYU they will appear on our next download - reaching your application quicker then rushed scores would reach our office. This is why we do not encourage "rushed" score reports.

Ah, I had a vague feeling that there was a hole in my logic. Thanks for clearing that up, NYU UGADMISSIONS.
