THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS

hmm lemme think...ill get back to you

edit: COMMACK

what are you president of?

well lets just put it this way, the maximum one can score on the ACT is 36 and you made a 35. I think the rest speaks for itself. The maximum one can score on the SAT is 2400 I believe and you made a 2380. Why are you even asking? This should have been a no brainer! Congrats.

There was a student last year. He was an intel finalist, scored perfect SAT score and 5 perfect SAT 2 scores and was rejected from Harvard and Yale and Princeton. With myriad activities, plus a plethora of leadership, he was rejected. So, I dont mean to be rude, but I am sometimes skeptical when I apply to H, Y, P. Seeing as how they take in several factors into account, such as sports, international, affirmative action, ethnic and geographic legacy, private schools like Exeter and Andover, legacy, and those that are in Seimons or Intel, it lowers my chance for acceptance.

Why the %@#& did you take 7 subject tests??? And both the SAT and ACT?

Your GPA is on the low side, maybe you can elaborate on the ECs???

I went to Andover, trust me, it's not easy to get into HYP from anywhere.

President of Math Club, President of Business Society, Treasurer of Science Club, Tutor Little Kids, Write for the newspaper, national junior honor society, winner of triple c award, etc...........

Your background (meaning, things beside your high school stats and ECs) is horrible. You are an overrepresented minority in a geographically overrepresented area. Colleges may view you as being the typical Asian applicant. Your chances are quite good at each of those, but I wouldn't be surprised if you were accepted or rejected at all three.

exactly.... that is the only reason why i took the several SAT 2 and the SAT and the ACTs. But, i dont think every other Asian out there has the resume that I have, plus the stellar scores.

Did i mention.... i have national merit.

Sweetie, it sounds like you know your answer.

What does: " Sweetie, it sounds like you know your answer," means

wow...you are reallly good at standardized testing

Thanks Alot

im really sorry to say it but, dont bother applying to the Ivies and the top 20's because you really should be more realistic and look at the SUNY's and your local community college...Nah, but seriously, congrats on the high test scores, but it seems to me that getting those kind of scores is rediculous, especially all those 800's. I hope your entire life is not about scoring high on standardized tests....Have some fun man and dont fret over all the schools because your guaranteed to get into one of those and all of them are pretty damn good

WHAT???????

I love working hard, and it was my dream to get into an Ivy League School!!!!! Especially H, Y, P, C, or Williams. Do you know what is my quote? It is by Winston Churchill: Dont ever ever ever give up. I NEED to get into H, Y, P, C, or Williams.

When I first look at your SAT II scores I thought this thread was a joke. Anyway...

Um, I have a question. How could you possibly want most to go to either Williams or columbia? Those schools are as different as night and day. Columbia:urban Williams:rural Columbia:huge Williams:tiny Columbia:hip and sophisticated Williams: sporty and intellectual I could go on and on. But I'm not sure how you could possibly really really want to go to both of these two schools. What sort of school are you actually looking for?
