Please look over my list of colleges! :)

I'm a female from Washington and I really want to major in pre-med. If that doesn't work out, i'll probably go into some sort of art and design. I made this list of colleges over the summer so it's not a very good list. I might not have the best schools that I have potential for on here. So, I'm asking for help: recommend schools not on the list or suggest to reconsider a school. What I look for when selecting colleges are the location (urban), weather (not too cold), and geographical location (Seattle or on the East coast, nowhere in the middle). Please feel free to create a new list that you think would better fit me. Also, if you've been to any of the colleges, please do tell what the atmosphere is like because I am not able to afford to go on college tours. Thank you in advance!

Quick Data: GPA-3.7, SAT-1900, Class rank-top 20%, enough extracurriculars/activities

College List:
University of Washington
Boston University
Northeastern University
Adelphi University
Syracuse University
University of Massachusetts-Amherst

You don’t give us the most important info. Can you afford to be full pay at all these schools?

Think twice about Adelphi if you haven’t visited it yet. For your GPA, (which is similar to mine), it is very low end. The campus is also grungy… and it is in a “rough” area geographically. Seems great that its out side of the city, etc, etc, but the reality is different.

Umass Amherst is a good, affordable option. About half of my graduating class goes there. However, before attending, you must know…
A. It is a VERY huge campus. Almost a city within itself.
B. It’s title of “ZooMass” hold true at this campus. They party. Alot. Kids in my highschool class used to travel there to party all the time.
C. Amherst is a nice college town. However, it is a pot-head town. I wouldn’t say there are alot of hard core druggies there, but, I will honestly say I have never met someone from Amherst that didn’t smoke pot.
D. All that being said, it is still a good school for academics.

Boston University is nice. A good school if you like sports and the city. Boston is beautiful.

Northeastern University is also nice. Its in a different section of Boston than BU, but it is still beautiful. Also highly noted for its coop programs and hockey.
