Please tell me by ranking my chances as being : high, above average, average(50/50), below average, low.
The school I'm aiming to go to is UCSD

UCB:
UCLA:
UCSD:
UCI:
UCD:
UCSB:
UCSC
UCR:
UCM:

again THANK YOU!!

bumpp

please respond im panicking!!

UCB and LA reach

UCSD you have a really good shot at it if your sat score goes high up.

other are matches if you sat score goes high up.

UCB: below average (SAT needs to be 2100 +, and good essays)
UCLA: below average. (SAT needs to be 2050 +, and decent-good essays)
UCSD: average 50/50 (SAT needs to be 2050 +, this is ur goal, decent-good essays)
UCI: above average (2000 on SAT is good enough already, decent essays)
UCD: above average (same thing for UCI, except u have a higher chance to get in)
UCSB: average 50/50 (SAT good enough, decent-good essays)
UCSC: High (Consider this a safety)
UCR: High (You're basically in, just don't screw up on ur essays lol)
UCM: High (Safety. hands down)

Your safeties are basically SC, R, and M. Irvine and Davis r really good chances for u to get in. Santa Barbara is somewhat a good chance. san diego i think u have a shot. but be sure to do better on ur SATs and ur SAT IIs. meet your goal. as for UCB and UCLA, those r crapshoots. just do the best u can.

You don't need 2050+ to go into UCSD. probably in the high 1900s you can get in ucsd. What's holding you back from the top tier UC's is your GPA. It is below average for the top tiers. You might be able to get into SD. other than that your looking at irvine, Davis, SB, SC, R, M

thanks guys for the input

more replies please! thank you!

"You don't need 2050+ to go into UCSD. probably in the high 1900s you can get in ucsd. What's holding you back from the top tier UC's is your GPA."

-88888888, the divine_vinny was not stating that all people need to get a 2050 on the sat to get into UCSD, he was stating the poster would need a 2050 with his uc gpa, which is 3.69, well below UCSD's average admit of 4.04. i would argue that a 2050 would likely still not be enough to get the poster into UCSD. with his 2000 sat as of right now, and a 3.69 uc gpa, UCSD is a reach. If his SAT goes up to a 2050, UCSD would become a slight reach. This doesnt meen that the poster shouldnt apply, even with a 2000, as a 2000 is slightly above UCSD's average admit sat. But the posters gpa is likely too low.

With 3.69 UC GPA, 2000 SAT:

UC Berkeley/UCLA: Large Reach
UCSD: Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Match

With 3.69 GPA, 2050 SAT:

UC Berkeley/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Safe Match

toolooloo:

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB: Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safe Match
