SAT: 2210
M: 760
CR: 660 :(
W: 790

Subject scores
Chemistry: 770
Maths IIC: 770
Japanese: 790

IB Predicted grade: 40-43 (out of 45)

for my International GCSE's I got 4A*'s/5A's/1B

Not sure if this will matter much but TOEFL ibt: 116/120

fairly decent ec's but nothing amazing (2 sports teams, co-founder of 2 clubs)
- spent 4 summers in a row overseas volunteering/teaching poor children
+ pretty unique essay (at least to me :P)

What I'm really worried about is my reading score...I checked the Columbia percentiles for sat scores and it seems that the 25th percentile scores 680...

also, i just took the november SAT and I'm quite sure I score a lot higher. Would those scores be considered for ED (I totally bombed this one idk why...) and can i still use score choice (best section) for ED? how do i send in my new reading score because i already sent my old sat score in?

Please chance and answer, much appreciated! :D

IB Grades are nice, SAT is alright too. Youre there academically.
Your ECs are just fine though. Any major achievements?
I wouldnt really worry about your score though, the other portions of your application kick in now, (since youve scored a 2200+).

Regarding your question about sending Nov Scores, I suggest you call up the Admissions Office and check it out. however, from what I understand, Columbia does accept Nov Scores. Dont Rush them, but just indicate Columbia as one of the schools to send the scores directly.

Also if youre Asian (probably you are considering you took Japanese SAT II’s), you know its much more competitive for us, so your essays matter just so much more.
But as they say, Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!
All the best.
